Your challenge

  • Consulting of the departments in relation to SAP PP with the help of other existing Application Owner and business power user organization
  • Build up and extend knowledge about Division business processes and application landscape
  • Represent Division interests in IS projects and lead discussions with production, logistics, procurement and controlling departments in relation to SAP PP and advanced planning systems (APS)
  • Definition of application strategy, roadmap and implementation together with the Application Owner in close cooperation with needed colleagues and 3rd party suppliers, product groups
  • Consulting of the business during implementation of process optimization within IS applications
  • Continuous analysis, enhancement and optimization of ATP and global demand planning processes within the global division Turbocharging
  • Close cooperation with the business to identify process improvement potentials enabled by new technologies and/or applications
  • Ensure structured and transparent evaluation of new applications / modules / functions
  • Identify trends and key enabling technologies around digitalization to contribute to the increase of division process efficiency or value creation with new business models
  • Providing leadership to temporary work teams and externals, guiding and monitoring task completion, disseminating expert knowledge and advice
  • Support today-s R3 and APS with other application owner to get familiar with our existing system to be prepared for upcoming Carve Out projects and a smooth transition
  • Strengthening the business organization including the Poweruser in the areas of SAP PP and APS
  • Ensure smooth operation of all applications and modules in your area of responsibility
  • Ensuring high quality of data in close cooperation with power users and end users to optimize value for business
  • Utilizing your knowledge of Information Systems application technology and business requirements to guide colleagues and business users in implementation and operation
  • Assisting in testing, documentation, and end user training

Your qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as functional consultant or similar roles in SAP PP, PP/DS in industry with strong focus on production, available to promise and demand planning
  • Experience with S/4 Hana in SCM APO, IBP is an asset
  • Experience with SAP integration / interface projects and technologies like ALE, EDI, Idoc, etc. is an asset
  • Experience with SAP QM, MM, EWM, SD is a plus
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and hands-on mentality
  • The ability to manage multiple demands on time, working with cross-functional, virtual, and international team
  • Identification and removal of obstacles/escalation and cross-functional conflict resolution
  • A collaborative, solutions, and customer service-oriented approach
  • Fluency in English, German is an asset
